Contributors are the backbone of the WordPress community and without them, there would be no platform for users to share their thoughts on anything. Contributing to WordPress is a great way to give back to the open-source community. And it doesn’t have to be an all-out contribution or nothing. You can use the same WordPress.org account for core contributions as well as many other areas such as Polyglots, Support, etc.
In order to contribute to the WordPress community, you need to have an account with WordPress.org. Create a WordPress account using: https://login.wordpress.org/
