Debugging 🐞

As a developer, you might run into issues when you are developing WordPress sites. It can be due to problems with the web server, a theme or plugin conflict, or simply the case of an update gone wrong. Just trying to fix the issue through trial and error method won’t help you find the exact cause of the error. That’s why you must know how to properly debug a WordPress site.

It takes the guessing work out of your game, enhances your knowledge, and saves you a lot of time.

You can use WP_DEBUG, a PHP constant (permanent global variable) to trigger the ‘debug’ mode throughout WordPress.

You can learn more about Debugging in WordPress from the linked support article or you can go through this WPMU DEV article covering the same.
