What are training policies and guidelines?

Being a part of the rtCamp training program means demonstrating a strong adherence to shared guidelines, policies, and best practices. The training policies outlined below will help you understand key aspects such as your work timings, marking time entries, leave policies, and the guidelines and expectations.

Training Times:

  • We expect 9 hours/day to be put forth to work including 1 hour of break.
  • While you are in training, the working hours are fixed from 11.30 am to 8.30 pm [Mon-Fri]. You are eligible for flexible working hours once you complete the training.
  • A good work-life balance is important to stay happy. We encourage you to take adequate breaks. You do not need to inform anyone or seek permission to take a break during the day. We only expect that you:
    • Update your Slack status when away and add a tentative time of your return.
    • Keep your tasks and stakeholders updated on your progress.
    • Be present for scheduled meetings, or drop a note to the manager or L&D team in case you can’t make it due to something urgent.

Time Entry Policy:

Time entries can include both billable and non-billable hours. For attendance purposes, we don’t look at the type of time logged, only the total hours recorded in the system are considered.

By logging time, individuals can showcase their productivity and ensure fair resource allocation, which ultimately supports a balanced work environment and smooth project delivery. It also helps in ensuring transparency and fair compensation for their time and efforts.

Time Off Policy (during training period):

  • To ensure focused and uninterrupted learning, you can only avail medical or emergency leaves in the training period.
  • We use our ERP system to apply for leaves.
  • While you are in your probation period, you are not entitled to paid time off. However, you can take unpaid leaves when needed.
  • Before applying for leave on ERP,  inform your reporting manager.
